Refundable Deposits & Fees
Parent Volunteer Deposit
Prelude I, Prelude II, and Allegro | $100 / semester |
Intermezzo, Avanti, Con Brio, Bravi, and Vocalise | $250 / year |
May be refunded upon completion and documentation of 5 volunteer hours per semester (Training Division Choirs) or 10 volunteer hours per year (Intermezzo, Avanti, Con Brio, Bravi and Vocalise).

The volunteer deposit is per child singing with us. When refund conditions are not met, deposits will become a 100% tax-deductible donation to Cantabile Youth Singers of Silicon Valley.
Non-Refundable Deposits & Fees
There is a non-refundable $50 registration fee per child for first time registrants in Cantabile’s programs and for students returning after a year or more hiatus.

All of Cantabile’s music is used by copyright. We collect this usage fee to offset licensing fees, binder purchase and music library maintenance. All music is the property of Cantabile Youth Singers and must be returned at the end of each semester. The Cantabile Music Usage fee offers students the opportunity to sing very complex and advanced repertoire and helps Cantabile maintain its music library and music storage - an important artistic resource.
Other Costs
Fall Weekend Retreat: All Avanti, Con Brio, Bravi & Vocalise Grand Prix singers are charged around $285 for full room and board to attend the mandatory weekend retreat (Friday night through Sunday morning with a family concert). The cost will be processed at the same time as the tuition balance.

Uniforms: All singers are responsible for the cost of uniforms, which is either paid directly to the vendors or billed separately by Cantabile for certain items that are ordered in bulk.
Summer Tour: The summer tour(s) are open to select performing choirs and the cost is billed separately. Learn more about touring here.
