HANNAH CHUBINSKA

I have been working at Cantabile since February 2025. I am originally from Kyiv,
Ukraine, where I earned a master’s degree in music pedagogy from the National
Pedagogic University. After finishing university, I worked as an accompanist for
the children’s choir “Shchedryk.” I also taught piano privately, taught music theory
at a music school, and worked as a music therapist for kids with special needs.
All those jobs taught me a lot about life, real human connections, and friendship.
I’m grateful that I could work with and learn from talented Ukrainian musicians —
performers, teachers, and composers.

When I relocated to the US, I explored different professional paths. However, I
always tried to keep music in my life. I formed the Ukrainian folk-rock band
“Hanna & Spivrobeatniky” in the Bay Area to share a piece of my homeland.
Currently, in addition to my work at Cantabile, I teach music at a Montessori
school, offer private piano lessons, and play piano at church. I’m also the mom of
three wonderful girls, and I’m trying to expose them to music in every possible
way. I enjoy literature, art, and I try to include some sports in my life.
