"Ever since my first rehearsal with Cantabile in Parish Hall at age 10, I knew I had found a community that would last me the rest of my life. As I reflect back on my Cantabile experience, I am met with so much gratitude for the students and educators that make up this organization for all the care and support I have been shown over the years.
Elena has pushed us to become our best--as singers, as dancers and as performers, both individually and as a group--by relentlessly challenging our understanding of choral music as well as our ability to interpret it. I owe so much of my growth not only as a musician, but more importantly as an individual, to her leadership. From memories of tours across the world to yoga flows to the correct pronunciation of Rachmaninov's choral music to how to lead, the lessons I have learned with Cantabile have made me into the person I am today.
