MARGARET FONDBERTASSE

Passionate about performing, Margaret is a staff accompanist at Skyline College, supporting the thriving vocal, choir, and musical theater programs. She collaborates with Skyline vocal faculty member Meghan Dibble as part of Katzenduo, a cabaret duo dedicated to celebrating modern art song. Margaret has held accompanist positions at several Bay Area high schools and institutions, including the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and esteemed ensemble Peninsula Women’s Chorus. She currently serves as the accompanist for St. James Episcopal in San Francisco. Margaret earned her bachelor’s degree in music from UC Berkeley, where she was awarded the prestigious Hertz Fellowship. She also plays the cello, and studies with Carol Rice.
