Cantabile Chorale
Songs of Love and Liturgy

While the December program presented a smorgasbord of works by 18 different Renaissance and contemporary composers, we focus the spotlight now on just three composers, each a preeminent master of his time and place, for our program entitled Songs of Love and Liturgy to be performed on March 11, 12 and 13 in San Francisco, Palo Alto and Berkeley.

Cantabile Youth Singers
Cantabile Youth Singers is now in its eleventh season, and the spirit of joy, excitement, and excellence is in the air. Our performance season began in November with the San José State University Choral Scholarship Concerts at Mission Santa Clara. Artistic Director Elena Sharkova led Cantabile Youth Singers and the SJSU choirs in a moving memorial to the children who died in the terrorist attack in Beslan, Russia.

Cantabile Youth Singers
Our Champion

Who is the wiry, energetic woman with the curly, black hair and cheerful smile who is an untiring advocate for Cantabile Youth Singers? She’s Barbara Weinstein.

Cantabile Choral Guild and you
I just thought I would share our progress on the Campaign for the Next Quarter Century. Our goal in the first year of the three-year campaign is to raise $50,000 in individual contributions. Well, you have donated enough in the first five months that we are more than halfway.
