Welcome A-Board

        Baroque Choral Guild welcomes two new members to the Board of Directors.  Carol Buchholz becomes an at-large member and Margaret Garms takes over the post of East Bay Chorus Coordinator.

        Carol joined the Guild Chorus in 1988 and has served variously as alto section leader, chorus coordinator and member of the Board ('91-'92). Last year Carol volunteered to be BCG seamstress and sewed all of the concert tunics for the Guild women singers.  She also sang as part of a solo quartet in the Guild's March concert.  Carol is an engineer for GE Nuclear and lives in San Jose.

        Margaret Garms is a relative newcomer to the Guild, joining the chorus in 1997.  She was an instant volunteer, handling ticket coordination for the East Bay chorus and hosting after-concert parties.  Margaret is a retired attorney and lives in Oakland with her high-school-senior son Joseph.
